SUBMISSION DEADLINES

Entry deadline for the Developer Awards: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2011 by 4:00 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Entry Deadline for Advertising and Marketing, Renovation, Industry Achievement, Sales Achievement and Partner Awards: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2011 by 4:00 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Entry Deadline for New Home, Multi-Family, Sales and Information Centers Awards: FRIDAY, JANUARY 13, 2012 by 4:00 PM - NO EXCEPTIONS.

ELIGIBILITY

Entrant must be a Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region Member in good standing.

Full payment must be received by submission deadlines. Entries submitted without the appropriate submission fee will not be eligible for judging. Payments are accepted by cheque or select credit cards.

To pay online, click "Pay Online" beside your total balance owing on the Account Summary page. MasterCard and Visa are accepted. If paying by cheque, click "Pay by Cheque" on the Account Summary page and include a copy of the Account Summary page with your cheque payable to the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region.

GENERAL CONDITIONS & INFORMATION

Entrant must be a Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region Member in good standing.
Entries submitted must apply to projects, products or services available/viewable within the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region service area.
Full payment must be accompanied with submission(s). Acceptable payment methods: MasterCard, Visa and Cheque - made payable to the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region. Please include all entry fees in one payment.
All materials submitted become the property of the CHBA - Calgary Region and will not be returned. Refer to our privacy policy online at www.chbacalgary.com or contact the CHBA - Calgary Region office to receive a hard copy.
All entrants agree to allow any information contained in their submission(s) to be exhibited and/or published at the discretion of the CHBA - Calgary Region.
All entries and judging forms are audited for irregularities and inconsistencies by the accounting firm of MNP LLP.
You will not be notified of missing components.

JUDGING

Over 150 volunteer judges are involved in a detailed and fully audited judging process to ensure quality and accuracy in selecting SAM Awards winners.

In order to compete for SAM Awards, Canadian Home Builders' Association - Calgary Region member companies are asked to submit entries. The submissions are then reviewed to ensure that they are complete and that they qualify for the category entered.

Judging involves detailed review of qualified entries by a pre-screened group of eligible Association members and industry peers, who assign numerical scores to a number of pre-determined questions based on specific criteria established for each category. Judges score entries according to their individual assessments and impressions.

Judging takes place on-line and for specific awards, also on-site. All entries and judging forms are audited for irregularities and inconsistencies by the accounting firm of MNP LLP.
